It takes a lot of courage to stand in the path of an oncoming freight train, or in this case a professional, NFL player that goes by the name of A.J. Hawk. But that’s just what a brazen golfing spectator did when he asked the pro-bowl linebacker to take him down, NFL-style on the greens at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, in Lake Tahoe Nevada.

As you’ll see in the video below, Hawk did what you’d expect from any 6’1, 235 lb. linebacker — he completely leveled the guy. Now a Cincinnati Bengal, Hawk, was competing at the American Century Championship when a familiar fan, who may have been hit in the head one too many times crossed the rope and asked the gridiron star to lay him out. And although Hawk, doesn’t go full throttle, it is a pretty solid stick that would leave most guys rattled.

The Hits Keep Coming

Apparently, this fan has a thing for getting laid out at golf outings. One year ago at the same event, he requested the same kind of punishment from the then Green Bay Packer, who gladly obliged. No doubt, we’ll all be looking forward to seeing what kind of hit Hawk puts on this glutton for pain at next year’s celebrity event.
