It was an impressive 100-kilogram, 2x-bodyweight clean and jerk that allowed Morghan King to lock in a spot on the 2016 U.S. Olympic Weightlifting team, which is set to compete at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics this summer. At the U.S. Olympic team trials this past Sunday, King locked up her 48-kilogram weight class with a 180-kilogram total over the two lifts, a feat that she had dreamed of accomplishing for the past few years.
