Arnold Meets Heroes from French Train

The mega-action star praises courage of the men who risked their lives to save others.

Arnold Meets Heroes from French Train

For the biggest, big screen action hero of all time to say it was an honor to meet three real life heroes, speaks volumes about the courage of U.S. National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, U.S. Airmen Spencer Stone and Anthony Sadler.

In case you missed the story, the three men were traveling on a French train when a terrorist started shooting. Without hesitation the Americans sprung into action and took down the gunman, undoubtedly saving the lives of many innocent people on board the train that day.

While it was surely an honor for the brave men to meet Mr. Schwarzenegger, the feeling was clearly mutual as demonstrated by the words in Arnold's tweet.

The movie's massive foreign appeal helped make it Arnold Schwarzenegger’s biggest overseas hit ever!

And while Genisys did show a huge amount of success overseas, it lacked the punch here in the States to top the domestic gross of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which took in $204.8m domestic to hold the top spot for total worldwide revenue among all the Terminator franchise flicks.
