For the biggest, big screen action hero of all time to say it was an honor to meet three real life heroes, speaks volumes about the courage of U.S. National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, U.S. Airmen Spencer Stone and Anthony Sadler.

In case you missed the story, the three men were traveling on a French train when a terrorist started shooting. Without hesitation the Americans sprung into action and took down the gunman, undoubtedly saving the lives of many innocent people on board the train that day.

While it was surely an honor for the brave men to meet Mr. Schwarzenegger, the feeling was clearly mutual as demonstrated by the words in Arnold’s tweet.

All in all, it was a good week for ‘The Oak’. His recent sci-fi thriller Terminator Genisys flexed its muscles abroad, taking in a whopping $346m, according to Forbes. That brings its worldwide total to a hugely successful $435.9m, besting the $431m worldwide cume of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. The movie’s massive foreign appeal helped make it Arnold Schwarzenegger’s biggest overseas hit ever!

And while Genisys did show a huge amount of success overseas, it lacked the punch here in the States to top the domestic gross of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which took in $204.8m domestic to hold the top spot for total worldwide revenue among all the Terminator franchise flicks.
