IFBB Pro Jason Poston was recently signed by FMG, making him the second male athlete ever signed to the Fitness Management Group in the history of the company.
Jason caught the eye of FMG during the 2013 IFBB Europa Show of Champions in Orlando, FL when he did an impromptu photo shoot with FMG athlete Aly Veneno. The photos and behind-the-scenes video from that shoot set social media ablaze, proving that he was one male athlete worth signing.
Currently, Jason holds the second position in the IFBB Olympia Points Qualification. To date, the highest IFBB Professional league placing he’s made was second place to teammate Mark Anthony in the 2013 IFBB Pittsburgh Pro Men’s Physique competition.
Jason, who has overcome adversity due to his ongoing battle with type-1 diabetes, hopes to qualify with a win in September in the inaugural IFBB Men’s Physique Olympia Showdown. According to Jason, “You have to work with the cards that are dealt in life, but that doesn’t mean you also have to fold when the hand is not an automatic winner, either. Challenges in life need to be met head-on and not avoided.”
