At 6’9″ and over 400 pounds, Hafthór Julius Björnsson aka The Mountain decided to spar with the fly in the form of UFC fighter Conor McGregor over the weekend.

McGregor, the interim UFC featherweight champion, is training to take on undisputed featherweight champion Joe Also in a title unification fight on December 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

This sparring matchup is about as unusual as it gets, and you can see McGregor’s sniping attacks on Björnsson soon piss him off enough to go skull chasing the Irish man around the mat. While he fights at 145 pounds, the Irish fighter walks around some 20 pounds heavier, which still puts him at a serious disadvantage in this assigment.

How UFC President Dana White views such antics is another thing, but to see The Mountain and The Notorious One going toe-to-toe is quite comical viewing.
