Sometimes you need a good producer in your ear. One that might tell you that you are interviewing a two-time Olympic gold medalist.

Well, WDSU anchor LaTonya Norton had no such luck over the weekend when she started to interview Mo Farah, who broke the course record and won the New Orleans half marathon in 1:00:59.

The interview did not go too well. Norton kept on asking him questions relating to the marathon instead of the half marathon and topped it off by asking him:

“Haven’t you run before? This isn’t your first time?”

Farah, who won Olympic gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m races in London last summer, kept chatting away but had a quick chuckle at one point.
