Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo

If you are a Rambo fan, then you may have a reason to rejoice. It has been reported that Sylvester Stallone is set to reprise one of his most memorable roles for a fifth time. He will also write the movie with Avi Lerner as producer.

According to Comingsoon.net, Splendid Films, who have acquired the rights for the movie, released the following statement: "With Rambo V, Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time, he goes up against a Mexican cartel," it reads. "Stallone, who has also written the screenplay, describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country for Old Men. Like the last film, Rambo V is produced by Avi Lerner (The Expendables 1-3)."

Stallone and his Expendables 3 castmates have been busy working up some buzz for the third installment of the action franchise, which hits the big screens on August 15.
