It’s (finally) official: Tango and Cash—a.k.a. Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell—will be reunited in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Chris Pratt confirmed the news during a Monday night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he was also joined by Russell, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, and Dave Bautista.

But Pratt not only confirmed that Stallone will be making a cameo in the movie (which has been the word on the street for a while now)—we also know which character he’ll be playing, according to the latest news coming out of the rumor mill.

Apparently, Stallone will take on the role of Stakar Ogard, better known as the superhero Starhawk, who appeared in the 2008–2010 Guardians of the Galaxy comic books as a jacked, blue-suited guy who can see the future and the past. (Yeah, it’s weird.)

Still, that’s not the only exciting news to come out of the intergalactic squad’s stint on the late-night show—we get to look forward to a third Guardians of the Galaxy film, Kimmel announced. What’s more, Pratt announced that James Gunn, who had written and directed the previous two films in the franchise, will again be at the helm of Volume 3.

So that means we can expect the same witty banter, stellar action sequences, an even better soundtrack (although we’re not sure if that’s possible), and more Pratt.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, directed by Gunn and starring Pratt, Russell, Saldana, Bautista, Rooker, and Karen Gillan—plus the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel—is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
