Lionsgate released the second trailer for The Hitman’s Bodyguard on Wednesday, and, unsurprisingly, it’s action-packed and funny as hell.

The first red-band trailer introduced us to Samuel L. Jackson as the world’s most-wanted hitman, paired with Ryan Reynolds as his bodyguard. They’re both seemingly out to prove that opposites don’t always attract.

Jackson is known for his portrayal of badass motherf**kers (and for having all but trademarked the second half of that term), and it looks like The Hitman’s Bodyguard will not be an exception. As you might expect, the back-and-forth between Jackson’s reckless assassin and Reynolds’ bodyguard makes for cinematic gold. (Crude gold, but still gold.)

Despite their differences, Reynolds’ character is adamant about his job, which, in this case, is getting Jackson to the International Court of Justice in time for a trial at which he’s set to testify.

Also among the star-studded cast are Gary Oldman (playing against type as a ruthless dictator), Salma Hayek, and Elodie Yung.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard, written by Tom O’Connor and directed by Patrick Hughes, hits theaters on August 18, 2017.
