Swiss Ball Plank

The Swiss ball plank is a highly advanced plank variation that strengthens the core, lower back, and entire upper body. The ball works as an unstable surface that increases the difficulty of the move.

Instructions

With your feet on the ground, place your elbows on a Swiss ball.
  2. Swiss Ball Plank
Raise your hips off the ground forming a straight line from your shoulders to your feet. Brace your abs and squeeze your glutes. Hold this position for the recommended amount of time.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Press your elbows and forearms into the Swiss ball as hard as possible.
  • Don't allow your hips to sag at any point.
  • Don't allow your torso to rotate to either side. Squeeze your glutes to help with stability.
