April 2014
Without lifting, my life is nonexistent.

It might sound like an exaggeration, but for WWE superstar John Cena, it’s true on many levels. He got his start working the front desk at Gold’s Gym in Venice, California and bounced at a bar on nights to make ends meet. He was so desperate that he would eat entire pizzas in one sitting just to take advantage of his local pizza joint’s “eat the whole pie, get it for free” challenge. For someone as hungry–both literally and figuratively–as Cena, it was hardly a challenge. Now, one of the biggest names in the WWE, it’s Cena’s work in the gym that has made his life outside of it the rags-to-riches success story it is today.
