Wendy Ina started to hit the gym at age 43 when she weighed 196 pounds. The gym gave her a way to regain her confidence after a tough breakup. She told The Sun, “I wanted to clear my head and exercise was an escape.” At age 64 she’s now in the gym everyday for 2 hours and weighs 126 lbs. The grandmother of three has 8 bodybuilding trophies under her belt and shows no signs of stopping, or even slowing down!  When it comes to her weight loss journey she told The Sun, “The change wasn’t overnight, I’d go down in weight then make mistakes and go up. I started weight-training and found that helped me with [building] strength and maintaining my weight.” Ina’s story proves that age is just a number and that with hard work and determination any fitness goal is achievable.
