Not one to feel sorry for herself or look for reasons to quit, the avid lifter went back to work hitting the iron just three weeks after the accident. As a matter of fact, she can now lift more with one arm than she ever could with two, topping all her personal records. “It’s the best thing that could have happened, so much good has come out of it,” says the feisty, Texan. “I’ve inspired so many, which I still find really odd and strange.”
