Opting for your bike helmet instead of your car keys may have a drastic effect on your health, aside from your fitness level.

A study from the University of Glasgow found cycling to work was associated with a 45% lower risk of cancer and a 46% lower risk of heart disease compared with those who follow a more traditional commute.
