What is it with professional athletes and their propensity to post pre-season box jumps online? First it was football player J.J. Watt before the football season started and now ballplayer Mike Trout has jumped on the bandwagon with this impressive leap.

We must give the outfielder a nice tip of the hat though, as this is no easy feat of fitness to execute. This type of plyometric exercise burns fat and builds explosive lower body strength, which will stand the 22-year-old in good stead as he readies himself for the grueling 162-game season ahead of him. How high can you jump? Can you leap like the Trout?
