MMA sensation Ronda Rousey is set to star in the third installment of the Expendables franchise, joining the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Dolph Lundgren in the hugely popular action series.  A few months ago, Rousey signed up with talent agency William Morris, and though UFC President Dana White may not be pleased with her latest career choice (White has been insistent that his fighters concentrate on fighting and nothing else), Rousey fans around the globe will be eager to see if she can take to acting like she did to MMA.

Sly made the announcement on Twitter and Rousey retweeted the update:

Stallone followed that tweet with an update that he meant “champion” boxer Victor Ortiz. With the addition of Rousey and Ortiz, Stallone might be hoping that casting young stars from the worlds of MMA and boxing will inject some new (and let’s face it, younger) life into the movie franchise. Could it also be the start of a new career as a big movie star for the UFC bantamweight champion? Do you think she will have the acting chops to make it big? Let us know what you think.
