If you are a Rambo fan, then you may have a reason to rejoice. It has been reported that Sylvester Stallone is set to reprise one of his most memorable roles for a fifth time. He will also write the movie with Avi Lerner as producer.

According to Comingsoon.net, Splendid Films, who have acquired the rights for the movie, released the following statement: “With Rambo V, Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time, he goes up against a Mexican cartel,” it reads. “Stallone, who has also written the screenplay, describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country for Old Men. Like the last film, Rambo V is produced by Avi Lerner (The Expendables 1-3).”

Stallone and his Expendables 3 castmates have been busy working up some buzz for the third installment of the action franchise, which hits the big screens on August 15. First they visited the Cannes Film Festival in tanks, and they’ve taken to social media to promote the film. In case you missed it, check out the full theatrical trailer.
