You'll need
  • 1 lb extra-lean ground beef
  • 3 tbsp dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 ½ tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • Nonstick cooking spray
1. Preheat grill on high heat.
2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, green onions, 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning and mustard. Form into four patties.
3. In a small bowl, blend the barbecue sauce and 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning.
4. Lightly spray the grill grate and cook the patties for five minutes per side, or until no longer red in the middle. Serve topped with seasoned barbecue sauce.
