Bent-Leg Calf Stretch

Instructions

  1. 6020_A
In a staggered stance, stand about two to three feet in front of a wall. Be sure the toes of your back foot are even with the heel of your front foot. Place your hands on the wall.
  2. Bent-Leg Calf Stretch
Bend the knee of your back leg to the point of feeling a slight stretch above the ankle of your back leg. Hold, relax, and return to starting position to repeat with your other leg.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Do not over stretch your calf. You shouldn't feel any pain.
  • The key is holding the stretch rather than quickly moving from one leg to the other.
