Incline I Raise

The incline I raise is a prehabilitation exercise that increases functionality and strength throughout the shoulder complex and middle back. This exercise particularly targets the front of the shoulders.

Instructions

  1. 215_A
Lie chest-down on an incline bench with a 30-degree angle. Allow your arms to hang straight down with your palms facing each other.
  2. Incline I Raise
Brace your core and raise your arms in front of you until they make a straight line with your torso while keeping your arms fully extended. Pause, then slowly lower your arms back to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Make sure you perform this movement slow, avoiding any excess momentum.
  • Do not bend the elbows. Keep arms straight throughout the exercise.
