Move over Batman, there’s a new sheriff in town—or in this case, new commissioner.

In March of this year, DC executives cast J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon for the film Justice League, which will premier in 2017. Let’s just say, Simmons has taken this role quite seriously.

Over the past few months, Simmons has been working with former soldier and current personal trainer Aaron Williamson. Williamson has previously trained celebrities such as The Rock, Jamie Foxx and Sylvester Stallone. He also helped Zac Efron shred his body and shed his reputation as the kid from High School Musical. So, clearly, Simmons is in good hands.

This summer, Williamson has tweeted out multiple photos of Simmons. The most recent one shows Simmons sporting eye-popping biceps while banging out a set of curls. Williamson captioned the photo, “Every time we train together I forget he’s 61 years old. So much respect for this guy #JKSimmons #OldManCranking”

With the movie premiere still a year away, it’s crazy to think about how brolic the aging Simmons could possibly become. Who knows, maybe by the time he’s 63 he’ll be taking Affleck’s place as Batman!
