Nobody is going to confuse Colin Farrell’s physique in the new Total Recall with that of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s in the 1990 original. Still, Farrell gave up his hard- partying ways for the role, replacing his old routine of Guinness “curls” for cardio, weights, and carb-deficient cuisine and got into the shape of his life to play a factory worker in 2084 who might not be who he thinks he is.
As for the many differences between the old and new movies, erase your memories. Or as Arnold’s character says in the original, “I don’t even remember me.”
