When it comes to getting the job done, at work and in the gym, U.S. Navy Officer, Jamie McTizic is the ultimate warrior. With a host of military duties, this badass Navy man and bodybuilder finds the time to hit the iron six days a week to craft a rock-solid physique. McTizic is the best warrior version of himself, which makes him an ideal spokesman for Warrior Fit – a comprehensive training program designed to inspire others to be the best warrior version of themselves. Do you have the mental fortitude to get up before the sun for a hardcore workout, and then attend to work and family responsibilities? How much are you willing to sacrifice to make sure you are ready for everything life has to throw at you? Warrior Fit doesn’t have all the answers, but it does have the workouts and supp tips to help get you in the best shape of your life. No excuses!

McTizic is an exemplary testament of dedication and commitment to both country and self. Responsible for building, loading and testing military bombs, the Aviation Ordinance (2nd class) Officer has served 10 years with the U.S. Navy and has been deployed overseas on numerous occasions. Along with his various service duties, McTizic is also a personal trainer and an official APS athlete, proudly representing the sports nutrition company for the past year.

The grueling demands of the day might seem too daunting to most, but McTizic takes them in stride and makes it a priority to hit the weights no matter how busy his schedule gets. “Whether it’s 3:00 in the morning or 11:00 at night, I’m going to the gym!” says the sailor.

So what does McTizic do once he makes it to his iron mecca?

Here’s a brief look at his weekly bodypart breakdown:

  • Monday: Chest
  • Tuesday: Back
  • Wednesday: Legs
  • Thursday: Shoulders & Traps
  • Friday: Arms
  • Saturday: Legs
  • Sunday: REST

As for lifting approaches, McTizic is a big fan of super sets, drop sets and failures. The Navy man says he likes using these training techniques to blast every fiber he has in the targeted muscle, so when he’s finished he knows that he gave it his all, leaving nothing in the tank. While McTizic’s daily workouts continue to shape the physique of a competitive bodybuilder, it was the strenuous hardcore training regiment he endured in the Navy that propelled him toward a successful bodybuilding career. McTizic credits the Navy’s extensive bodyweight exercise requirements — pushups, situps, and pullups — for helping to get in peak physical condition and build a strong, muscular body.
