He may not win the next Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas later this month, but according to Guinness World Records, Moustafa Adel Ismail of Egypt does take first place for World’s Biggest Biceps.

Pumping iron twice a day for the past 10 years, “Big Mo’s” upper arms measure a whopping 31-inches. Inspired to further develop his arms, Moustafa packed his bags and moved to the U.S. to gain better access to more advanced workout facilities. He says he currently trains twice a day, focusing not only on his massive arms, but building strength and muscle throughout the rest of his body. "Working out makes my mood better," he says. "I like that in this type of sport you can see your improvement in your shape. I know they are growing, my chest, my shoulders, my arms. I love the weights."

Along with his workout regimen, Moustafa credits his diet and genetics for earning him the top spot on Guinness’ biggest biceps list. Big Mo says a high protein (3000 grams per day), high carb diet is to thank. One report had him eating 15 eggs for breakfast along with copious amounts of cheese and bread to fill up. Additional sources of daily protein include as much as 3 pounds of chicken, 1 pound of steak or fish and three liters of protein shakes. “I just do it to look better," says Mustafa. "It’s a good feeling to look good and be in the best shape.”
