It wasn’t until two weeks ago that Silvio Samuel decided to officially enter the Europa Super Show. After the prejudging of the Men’s Under 210-pound class on Friday afternoon at the Dallas Convention Center on Friday afternoon, it’s obvious he made the right decision.

Weighing in at a sharp 206 pounds, Samuel was clearly the class of the Under-210 division, which was introduced for the first time at the Europa. In all, 16 competitors turned out to compete in the division. Samuel will also be competing in tomorrow’s main event at the Europa, where he is one of the pre-contest favorites. First though, he has to handle business among the lighter competitors.

The fight for second is shaping up to be a much more intriguing battle. As evidenced by the last callout of the afternoon, that contest will be between “Tricky” Ricky Jackson and Guy Ducasse.

On the women’s side, Debi Laszewski and Mah-Ann Mendoza appear to be 1-2 in the lightweight division heading into the night finals, while the heavyweight division should come down to Th-resa Bostick and Tazzie Columb.

Two of the top competitors in the sport, Adela Garcia and Tanji Johnson, are facing off in fitness.

In figure, Shannon Meteraud appears to be in the lead heading into the evening finals.
