We caught up with Johnnie Jackson the other day while he was in town shooting a video for bodybuilding.com at Gold’s Venice. In the pictures, Johnnie is weighing around 247 pounds at just under three weeks out from the Ironman – the pictures were taken on Saturday, January 27.

Jackson finished the 2007 season on a high note, winning the Atlantic City Pro for the second year in a row and finishing in the top 10 (9th) at the Olympia for the first time in his career. According to the man many call the strongest pound-for-pound bodybuilder in the world, that was only a preview of what’s on the horizon.

“I’m bigger and fuller and rounder,” Jackson says. “My legs are starting to match my upper body, my physique is more complete.”
