Supplement giant MuscleTech has re-signed Jay Cutler to a new multi-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but from what we hear at FLEX it’s the most lucrative endorsement deal in bodybuilding history. The competition to sign the newly-crowned Mr. Olympia was rumored to be one of the most competitive bidding wars to date. But, in the end, Cutler decided to stay with the team that he has been with since first signing with MuscleTech in 2003.

“This is a great arrangement for both parties,” said MuscleTech Chief Marketing Officer Vince Scalisi. “This is a great deal for Jay and a great one for us. We believe that, in an ambassadorial sense, Jay can be the best Mr. Olympia since Arnold Schwarzenegger.”

Cutler won his first Olympia crown in 2006 by toppling eight-time champion Ronnie Coleman after finishing as the runner-up to Coleman in 2001 and 2003-2005.

“I’m extremely happy to keep my relationship with MuscleTech,” Cutler said. “Having been with them as I fought to win the Olympia over the years, it’s only right, now that I’ve achieved that goal, to keep this great relationship going. I look forward to being the Mr. Olympia they believe I can be.”
