NY Pro First Call Out Play by Play
By Dennis James

#4 Anthoneil Champagnie
He just turned pro a little over 6 months ago and he's put on about 16 lbs since then. Beautiful package. I think he should have won the Overall when he turned pro. This is his first pro show and this is exactly what you want to look like at your debut.

#5 Jon Delarosa
He looks great! Paper thin skin, color is perfect. He's much improved from last year. He should be top 5.

#7 Clarence DeVis
He's usually a 212 guy. This is his best look ever. He's one of the shorter guys and I would have liked to see him in 212 fighting for the top spot, but he looks great. He's really tight! He reminds me of a smaller Kai Greene.

#8 Mamdough "Big Ramy" Elsbiay
This is an absolutely freaky guy. The crowd is going crazy! He's only been training for 2.5 years and this is his pro debut. He wanted to come introduce himself to the NY crowd and they love him! He's waiting for a phone call that his wife is having a baby.

#12 Victor Martinez
Victor walked out and the crowd went wild! This is the best Victor since 2007. He's a little smaller but his conditioning is spot on, this is what he needs to look like to win this show. It's amazing the physique that this guy managed to put together after everything he's been through recently.

#14 Juan Morel
He keeps improving year after year. I know Juan personally and he busted his butt and nailed his condition. He's bigger than last year and should definitely be in the top 3.

Victor and Big Ramy are in the middle fighting for 1st and 2nd, followed by Juan and Jon battling it out for 3rd and 4th, then Antoneil and Clarence in 5th and 6th.
