There‘s gonna be a lot to be thankful for on November 7, as the 2009 IFBB Sacramento Pro Men‘s Bodybuilding Grand Prix debuts at the historic Crest Theater in Sacramento, California. The Sacramento Pro has been resurrected after a one year hiatus thanks to the efforts of co-promoters and IFBB and NPC judges, John Tuman and Ted Williamson. “With the help of Jim Manion [NPC President and IFBB Pro League chairman] and great sponsors, we were able to bring the show back,” Tuman said. “It‘s good for the athletes who did not qualify or make top 6 at the Olympia. The ones already in shape can extend their diets for a few more weeks and battle it out.” Top three qualify for the 2010 Olympia.

Also on the card are the IFBB Sacramento Pro Figure – with the top three qualifying for the 2010 Figure Olympia – and the NPC Sacramento Bodybuilding, Figure and Bikini Championships, the last west coast qualifier for the 2009 Nationals, taking place two weeks later. Tuman and Williamson, have been running the NPC Sacramento for the past 15 years and the Pro Figure for four years.
