Every year when the ice begins to thaw and spring turns the corner, you realize it's time to shed that winter flab and get your beach body whipped into shape just in time for summer.

And what says you're ready to hit the surf better than a pair of washboard abs? Answer: Nothing.

This core-crushing fitness test will jump-start your warm-weather training with five relentless rounds of abs-focused exercises. Kick things off with reverse crunches and barbell rollouts, and finish with a pair of hanging windshield wipers and lying medicine ball passes that'll have your muscles feeling the heat.

Complete 5 rounds of the exercises below. Take 2 minutes rest between rounds.
