Man Does Pushup During Chest-Building Workout

It’s chest day. And while you could just do your same old routine, we pretty much guarantee you’re better off mixing things up—and this muscle-building circuit is the place to start.

You’ll begin with a round of lying dumbbell rotational presses, an innovative shakeup on the typical bench press. After that, the only thing you’ll need to know how to do is a pushup. As you cycle through three challenging variations—mini-plyo pushups, incline pushups, and decline pushups—you’ll feel the burn (and notice the results) from shoulder to shoulder.

Directions

You’ll do this workout as a circuit, meaning you’ll complete each exercise consecutively without rest. Once you’ve finished all exercises, rest for 30 seconds. Repeat the entire circuit for 5 to 10 rounds.

Depending upon your ability, you may shorten or lengthen the rest period. You may also complete more or fewer rounds.
