Bicycle In-Out

The bicycle in-out drill is a core-strengthening exercise that targets the lower abs and obliques. The exercise also improves stability in the lower back and hips.

Instructions

  1. 965_A
    Lying on your back with your hands behind your head, raise your legs and bend your knees to 90 degrees.
  2. Bicycle In-Out
    Raise your shoulders off the floor and twist your torso to one side. While holding the twist, extend your legs straight in front of you, then draw them back and untwist to return to start.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Avoid neck strain by touching the back of your head lightly, not pulling it for support
