Walkout from Pushup Position

The walkout from a pushup position is a bodyweight exercise that strengthens the core while also improving muscular strength and endurance of the chest, shoulders, and arms.

Instructions

    Start in pushup position with your hands on the floor shoulder-width apart. Your body should form a straight line from your shoulders to your feet.
  2. Walkout from Pushup Position
    Walk your hands forward past your head as far as you can without letting your hips drop. Then walk them back to return to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Do not let your hips sag low or hike high during the walkout.
  • Make sure you keep strong elbows as you walk out. Don't let them bend.
  • Squeeze your core and your glutes during the entire movement.
