Objective: The use of a resistance band in strength training provides accomodating resistance, that is, the resistance, or tension, will increase throughout the concentric phase of the movement. This adds a unique training effect compared with using straight weight. The band pec fly will use accomodating resistance to promote pectoral strength. It is also a great pre-hab movement to utilize before bench pressing.
