Angela Debatin moved to the U.S. to fulfill her bodybuilding dreams. At the time, there was not a professional bodybuilding level in Brazil. So she did what any champ would do, Debatin went for the gold, she didn’t wait for it to come to her.
The first time Debatin stepped on stage was in 1994 as a powerlifter competitor. She has since become the only Brazilian to qualify to compete at Ms. Olympia three years in a row. Debatin has gone on to compete and place in some of the most prestigious international competitions.
