It looks like Ray Fisher and Men’s Fitness September 2016 cover star Henry Cavill aren’t the only actors getting massively jacked for Justice League.

Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa recently finished his work as Aquaman on the sequel to Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he celebrated by posting some photo proof of his awesomely productive work in the gym. Momoa looks like a real-life hero, showing off his fantastically chiseled chest, huge biceps, and a cut eight-pack—yes, eight-pack—as he gets in a workout in the gym:

In another recent post, Momoa thanked the cast and crew of the film, and possibly hinted at a potential return to Game of Thrones for the new season, saying he had to skip the wrap party to “prepare for the north.” Rumors have been running wild that Momoa’s fan-favorite character Khal Drogo may appear in flashbacks or dream sequences after the actor was spotted hanging out with actor Kit Harington, who plays hero Jon Snow on the HBO smash hit. Alternatively, Momoa may be heading somewhere up north (Iceland, maybe?) for more shooting on future DC Comics movies.

Momoa and Fisher have both been working with trainer Mark Twight on the film. Here’s a look at the Aquaman actor from “months” before he posted the pictures above. While Momoa still looks pretty big, and it’s hard to tell just how defined he was in that rakish sweater, he’s definitely put in the hard work at the gym to gain incredible muscle definition:

Fisher has done the same with Twight, getting himself extremely jacked to play the half-man, half-robot hero Cyborg. Fisher’s chest, arms, and abs are out of control in this post, and he showed off some of the work he’s been doing with slam balls here, flashing a rock-hard eight-pack in the gym:

Twight doesn’t just get the actors in shape—he’s pushing director Zack Snyder to bulk up, too:

But actors getting heroically shredded isn’t the only news brewing in the DC Entertainment Universe. Ben Affleck dropped some major hints about the status of his new solo Batman film that he’s writing, directing, and starring in. After news broke that former Men’s Fitness cover star Joe Manganiello will play the villain Deathstroke, Affleck told The Associated Press while promoting his action film The Accountant that the movie “probably” will be called The Batman. Watch the interview:

Between Affleck’s scene-stealing turn as Batman, Gal Gadot’s pitch-perfect Wonder Woman, the additions of Fisher and Momoa as Cyborg and Aquaman, and Cavill’s likely resurrection as Superman, Justice League is shaping up to be a massive step-up for the DCEU.

Justice League, directed by Zack Snyder and starring Fisher, Cavill, Momoa, Affleck, Gadot, and Ezra Miller, will be released on November 17, 2017.
