 To make it tougher: Lie faceup with knees bent, feet on the floor, and holding the sides of the plate with arms extended. Perform a dynamic situp, finishing with the plate overhead. In this version, your arms should remain vertical through the entire set.


  1. 800-crunch-plate-1
    Lay on the floor faceup holding the plate.
  2. 800-crunch-plate-2
    Perform a situp. Reverse the motion to lower back down.
