Jay Cutler may be Mr. Olympia now, but he’s always been a businessman. His latest business project: partnering up with FLEX correspondent Dave Bourlet to become the official owner of Jay Cutler’s Max Muscle Venice. Tomorrow, Saturday, April 28, will Mark The grand re-opening of the store.

“It puts my name in a place where there is such a storied history, Muscle Beach,” Cutler says. “That’s why this is a great place. Venice Beach is the Mecca of bodybuilding. It’s right there, in the mix. It’s a huge plus that fans traveling from all over the world will be able to come to a place and get the full benefits in terms of bodybuilding memorabilia.”

The opening, which begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m., is shaping up to be quite the event, and will feature two Olympia winners from 2006 – Cutler and Figure Olympia winner Jenny Lynn – as well as “Marvelous” Melvin Anthony. In addition, a film crew from bodybuilding.com is expected to be on hand.

“There will be free food, free drinks, lots of special sales and discounts all day, free give aways and many more surprises. I hope you can all make it as it will be a great day in the Mecca of Bodybuilding, Venice, California,” Bourlet says.
