One of the biggest surprises of 2011 is also one of the smallest, at least in terms of height. At the beginning of the year, Britain’s Shaun Tavernier was just another promising amateur, but he nabbed his pro card and made his pro debut (with a strong fifth) at the British Grand Prix 202 on the same weekend. Okay, but you’ll probably never hear from him again, right? Wrong! He promptly won the Toronto Pro 202, and now he’s headed to the Olympia 202 Challenge on September 17. Tavernier is only 5’2″, but he packs a lot of beef into those 62 inches. We got the surprising little big man to share his quad training tips and a typical quad routine.
