James Gallaugher is one hell of a sprinter. The 12-year-old from Australia has reportedly clocked 11.72 seconds for the 100m. In this clip, he anchors a state final relay for Ulladulla Primary School and comes out of nowhere to catch the runaway leader and pip him at the post. The "Go James" commentary from the stands ramps up the speed merchant claws back the leader in supreme style.

Gallaugher's coach, Scott Richardson, thinks his charge can go far in the sport. "James is a standout. I wouldn't just say it because he is someone I coach. He is a freak and I mean that in the very best way," he said, according to the Australian.

"When I talk about him with my wife and my family, we just say he is going to be the greatest sprinter we have ever had if he keeps improving at the rate which he is."

Awesome speed, James, and best of luck with your development!
