According to The Sweet Science, the fight will be televised on free-to-air CBS as a reward for fans who have supported Mayweather during his long career.
Berto is a two-time welterweight champion trained by Virgil Hunter, and he represented Haiti at the 2004 Olympics. He was last in action on March 13, when he defeated Josesito Lopez by sixth-round TKO to win the interim WBA World welterweight title. While Mayweather has not confirmed who he is fighting next, he did post this Instagram video to herald the start of his training camp. Check it out:
