It’s your first time on the pro stage, you nervous?
Of course I’m a bit nervous, but I’m more excited! I’m glad to get out of Shreveport, LA for the weekend and catch up with all my friends! It’s going to be a great show! 🙂

How has the game changed since obtaining your pro card this past June?
I think figure has definitely changed a bit this past year… it is definitely sticking to the softer, less muscular look.

Has your training/diet changed since getting your pro card?
Nothing has changed too much. I have to see how I stack up with the other girls, and then I’ll go from there with what changes I need to make!

Who do you predict will be in the first callout?
Hmmm… this is so tough because a lot of awesome girls are competing… Huong, Kristi, Meriza, Cheryl, Julie Ann, Akan, Kristin… gosh who knows?!

What are your predictions for the top three?
I have NO idea!!!! It will be interesting to find out!  But I’m going to predict Kristi, Julie Ann and Meriza?!

Coming off a 2nd place finish at the Border States Classic, how confident are you using a 1-10 scale (10 being the highest) heading into the Sacramento Pro Championships?
I always strive for a 10, and if I feel I have accomplished that personally with myself, then I have already won regardless of where I place.

From 2007 to 2008 you made a huge jump from 12th to 6th, what have you changed in terms of diet or training to improve your placing?
My trainer/nutritionist Kim Oddo and I constantly make changes to my program to improve my physique. He has especially recommended specific exercises for me to target my glutes which I feel have made a difference in my physique throughout the years.

Do you feel judging standards are shifting? If so, where do you think it’s headed?
I would like to think they are headed in my direction, but they have a tough job and I commend them for what they do.

Who do you predict will be in the first callout?
Not sure.

What are your predictions for the top three?
Of course I would love to see myself in the top 3; I always train to win, but I don’t stress about what the other placing will be.

What is your main goal in your second show since the Olympia?
My goal for this show is to get top three. I’d like to an early qualification for the 2010 Olympia and then give my body a rest.

How hard is it to maintain your condition after the O?
It hasn’t been too hard, actually. It’s just like clockwork now to be honest. My trainer has been a huge help to make sure I’m on the right track.

What is your confidence on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) going into this show?
It’s a full-on 10. After seeing my photos this morning, I’m even more confident. I’m very excited for this show.

Who do you predict will be in the first callout?
Kristi Tauti will be in there, Carin Hawkins, and me, of course.

What are your predictions for the top three?
I’m the first and the rest doesn’t really matter to me.
