Phil Heath, recently anointed champion of the bodybuilding world, has been getting more press than your average IFBB Pro thanks to his stint in NCAA college basketball. Heath, who played for the University of Denver for four years, was briefly highlighted on CBS 4 Denver with some video and interviews from the event-you can check it out here (click here for the CBS article!).
Media giants AOL (click here for the AOL article) and Yahoo! (click here for the Yahoo! article) also featured pieces on the champ, complete with before and after photos highlighting what a massive change Heath has gone through since he graduated in 2002. The African-American lifestyle magazine Jet (click here for the Jet article) also had a piece on Heath in their sports section. Heath is the 13th overall Mr. Olympia and by the time his reign is over, he might just be the most famous (well….except for that guy named Arnold).
