Just a few years ago, Ronda Rousey was a star in the making, but now she is radiant and as close to the public eye as one can possibly be.
The UFC women’s bantamweight champion recently defended her title for the seventh time at UFC 190 back in August, and she also signed onto to portray herself in a bio-pic based on her best-selling autobiography “My Fight/Your Fight.”
Also mixed in through the whirlwind that is “Rowdy,” was her No. 8 ranking on Forbes’ Highest Paid Female Athletes list and now she has confirmed that she’s the highest earned in the entire UFC.
The 28-year-old Rousey made the announcement on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this morning saying, “I’m the highest paid fighter in the UFC. It’s pretty cool. It’s fun to say.”
Rousey, an Olympic bronze medalist in Judo, also made sure not to leave without showing off her renowned grappling skills on-set, which you can see below.
She will make her return to the Octagon Nov. 14, 2015 in UFC’s inaugural trip to Melbourne, Australia for the UFC 193 pay-per-view against fellow undefeated fighter Holly Holm, where the duo have been pegged to break an all-time attendance record for a mixed martial arts event.
