Rousey raised a few questions earlier this year when she pushed back her UFC return, which at the time was targeting this summer. She wanted to take a hiatus to focus more on her entertainment career, a statement to her credit, she made before losing her title to Holly Holm. Naturally, Rousey retirement rumors began to swirl but she put them to rest saying she’s just waiting to see what options she’ll have for a rematch later this year.
In the meantime, the plot is thickening. Holm matches up against Rousey’s nemesis Meisha Tate at UFC 196. We don’t know who will come out on top, but we’re sure Rousey will be ready.
