Veteran faces grabbed new medals at the 2015 Mr. Olympia last weekend. Phil Heath snagged his fifth straight Mr. Olympia title and only one new face came away with a win. Here’s a quick run down of the names and faces you should know.
Jeremy Buendia – Men’s Physique
The reigning Men’s Physique champ held off Sadik Hadzovic to claim a consecutive title.
Oksana Grishina – Fitness
The veteran from Russia was in exellent form again this year. Grishina notched her second straight Fitness Olympia title.
Juliana Malacarne – Women’s Physique
Brazilian bombshell Juliana Malacarne had all the goods, and then some, to walk away with her second straight Olympia Women’s Physique Showdown title. Her level of detail and shape, highlighted by an alluring posing routine, kept her out in front of a competitive field.
Ashley Kaltwasser – Bikini
Call it a three-peat! Ashley Kaltwasser is the Bikini Olympia champion for the third year in a row and she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Phil Heath – Mr. Olympia
They call him “The Gift,” but Phil Heath’s fifth straight Mr. Olympia win was anything but. Heath fended off men nicknamed “The Blade” and “The Big Bad Wolf” to snag this year’s Sandow Trophy.
Flex Lewis – 212 Bodybuilding
Flex Lewis is now the four-time Men’s Bodybuilding 212 champ.
Latorya Watts – Figure
The newest member of the Olympia championship club. Latorya Watts knocked off former four-time champion Nicole Wilkins to claim her first Figure Olympia title. Watts placed fifth in her Olympia debut last year.
