STRONG is a fitness competition show like no other, where contestants test their physical and mental limits to reach their full potential. It’s not all about losing weight but rather, about finding the balance between mind and body. It’s about getting strong and refusing to quit!
Professional volleyball player and fitness expert Gabrielle Reece hosts the 10-episode series, from executive producers Dave Broome (“The Biggest Loser”), Oscar-nominated iconic film star Sylvester Stallone, Kevin King Templeton (“Creed”), and Holly Wofford (“American Ninja Warrior”).
In every episode, a two-person team will train together and compete in multiple physical challenges that incorporate a number of demanding obstacles. The challenges will put them to the ultimate test in strength, endurance and mental stamina. As the contestants strive to dominate the courses and the competition, we’ll see flab turned to muscle, doubt turned to confidence and weakness turned to strength.
Each week one team will be eliminated and at the end of every episode, their inspiring transformation will be revealed. The winning team will take home a cash prize of up to $500,000.
In tonight’s exciting show, gamesmanship kicks into high gear as the teams face the first all-women’s power challenge. Here the teams will have to work together in a brutal strength challenge that tests their upper body strength and communication. Motivations are questioned. In the end, it’s a showdown in the Elimination Tower between the season’s biggest rivals, all culminating to a mid-season twist none of the teams saw coming.
