Rosemead (Calif.) plays host to national qualifier

Last year’s NPC Junior California in Pasadena, Calif., was a huge success. Waves of fans crashed through the doors at Pasadena City College’s Sexson Auditorium to check out the action and to rub elbows with guest poser Jay Cutler. This year, there may be a change of venue – the show will take place at the Rosemead High School Auditorium – but the insanity is sure to be repeated.
Cutler will be back to entertain the fans on June 20 in Rosemead but the headline stories will be with the athletes competing in the show’s four divisions: men’s and women’s bodybuilding, figure and bikini, which is new to the Junior Cal.
By all accounts, competitive lineups are taking shape in each division, although you’re going to have to make a return visit to FLEX Online or head over to the show’s official site (www.npcjuniorcal.com) for complete competitor listings.
