UFC veteran and current Strikeforce Welterweight title contender Joe Riggs visits Pro MMA Radio this Monday, June 15th. Riggs, a veteran of eight UFC fights, holds victories over “name guys” like Nick Diaz, Kendall Grove and Chris Lytle and fought then UFC Welterweight World Champion Matt Hughes for the title in 2005. Most recently, he scored a dominant three round decision over Phil Baroni at “Strikeforce: Shields vs. Lawler” and should be in line for a title shot with the promotion. Outside the cage, Riggs has overcome adversity and tragedy to stay in the hunt for championship gold.
