The Rock just keeps on rolling. Fresh off the set of Hercules: The Thracian Wars and straight into shooting Fast and Furious 7, Dwayne Johnson just announced that he has signed up to play a role in Seal Team 666.

The latest film role comes hot on the heels of news that he was a new reality series, Wake up Call, on the way on TNT.

Seal Team 666 is about a group of soldiers who are fighting enemies not of this world. The Pain & Gain star will team up again with Evan Spiliotopoulos, the writer who worked on Hercules and who will adapt the screenplay for this movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Rock was on a strict diet and training regime for Hercules, and he  has had to stay in that same nick for F&F7, so we'll just have to wait and see what kind of training he will have to so to get into Seal shape.
